The genres I am interested in is poetry and fiction. Exploring Romaticism and Colonial America

As a future educator, I have many ideas about what I would like to teach inAmerican literature and how I would like to teach it. Currently, my focus iseither on the early colonial literary period or the Romantic period. In myexperience I find these literary eras capture the true American spirit as wellas helps shape the next generation of young writers. What would I teach?

Hello, my name is Maria Bonaddio and welcome to my teaching blog! If I were to teach 5th graders, I would like to teach them about the history of Massachusetts. I would like to teach them about the settlers, what life was like for them, what crops they grew, and who the Puritans were.
