This book is about a young girl, Vashti, who is discouraged in her art class because she thinks that she cannot draw as well as everyone else in her class. With the help from her teacher who helps her grow her confidence, she is able to create something truly exciting for Vashti. The short story “The Tell-Tale Heart” is by Edgar Allen Poe. It is a very morbid story, but Poe always leaves behind an important lesson for all of his readers.
