Final Project

Hi welcome to our final project! Sydney and I will be discussing the childhood novel, “Blubber,” by Judy Blume. With our lesson plan, we will talk about the book and the deeper meaning. Our goal is for the students to find and understand the deeper meaning of the story. We will guide them by presenting them with a video explaining the multiple intelligences, which will help them identify what they are and engagement questions about the book. We hope the students are able to understand the novel and Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences by the end of our lesson plan! https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1cj-h1u4N22i3ULQjEM9XC9PAX-90YGDPw6yMBHW24Lg/edit#slide=id.p Madie’s … Continue reading Final Project

Teaching this book, a tool we think that is useful and most helpful is a powerpoint with videos and questions following the book. This … Continue reading “Blubber” by Judy Blume by Madie and Sydney

Romantic era

During that era, authors and even artists started to express themselves in words and pictures.  I personally love to read about love and emotion, so I am very interested in this time period. The Romantic era also touches upon nature, using personification in its poems.  I would teach the romantic era/period with poems and short stories by the famous authors during … Continue reading Romantic era
