Hi everyone! As we end this semester, Marykate Gorham and I have finished our project on The Great Gatsby. Here, we are talking about how Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences connect with the story as well as the movie. We have provided some clip examples that can also be found in the book. The reason for this is because we thought it would make a lot more sense to students if they had access to how the characters were feeling and what they were doing in the moment. As this century’s version of the Roaring 20s is vastly approaching, here is a recap on what our last blog post addressed! In our last blog post, we introduced the idea of teaching The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald to students at a middle and high school level. By Kaitlynn Castro and Marykate Gorham As we wrap up the final year of the decade, we are soon entering this generations’ version of the Roaring 20’s. In honor of this, we have decided to focus our final research project on The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The students we are aiming to teach this book to are middle and high school students. We intend on using interpersonal, intrapersonal and linguistics for Gardner’s components of intelligence.
