Blog Post #3 For my final project I have chosen to discuss the book The Dot ,by Peter H. Reynolds. In this book, Reynolds tells the story of a young girl named Vashti who becomes discouraged within herself because she believes she is incapable of drawing as well as everyone else in her class. I have decided to conduct my research on the book, The Dot written by Peter H. Reynolds. This book tells the story of a little girl Vashti who discovers her artistic talent after being constantly frustrated in class. This book said it could be read to any students from 1-5th grade. However I think this would be a great book for a class of second graders. It is not difficult to understand but it does teach them a lesson and could be great for proposing questions to the students throughout the book or when the book is finished.
