The Tell Tale Heart

The short story “The Tell-Tale Heart” is by Edgar Allen Poe. It is a very morbid story, but Poe always leaves behind an important lesson for all of his readers. In this story the message is that guilt can ruin us and destroy people. It is better to be honest and set your guilt free. Exploring the Renaissance Period

The Renaissance Period has always sparked my interest. The European Renaissance period was described as a fervent period of European cultural, artistic, political and economic “rebirth” following the Middle Ages. It was a time where people began to dig deeper and challenge each other’s thoughts.
