Maria and I have worked together and have come up with amazing ideas that we are going to use in our future elementary school classrooms. During my junior year in high school, the most interesting topic I remember learning in literature was Romanticism. Romanticism was a social, religious, and movement that was a reaction against the strict traditions and ideas of the Enlightenment. In the Enlightenment, individual thinking and creativity were restricted and religious ideas followed stern laws of the Church.
